JOHOR BAHRU, Aug. 13 -- Police are investigating a report that a Toyota Hilux followed a food trader's 12-year-old son as he was walking home in Taman Megah Ria here on Tuesday.

Seri Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sohaimi Ishak today said police were actively investigating the alleged incident involving the primary school pupil, which was reported to have occurred at 4.45pm.

"In the report, the boy claimed to be followed by the Toyota Hilux in the Seri Alam area.

"At the same time, police were also despatched to the location of the incident shortly after the victim's parent uploaded his son's ordeal on Threads.
