PETALING JAYA, May 29 -- If you've ever tried forcing Google Maps or Waze to use the West Coast Expressway (WCE) instead of the usual PLUS Highway route, you'll know it isn't always straightforward.

Most navigation apps tend to default to the North-South Expressway (PLUS), even when WCE could have been a viable alternative.

To make it easier to find your way to get on WCE, they have just updated its mobile app, which now comes with a built-in "Route Assistant" feature.

According to WCE, the new Route Assistant allows users to navigate to their destination through WCE routes with a single tap. At the time of writing, the feature only supports Google Maps and Apple Maps, as Waze isn't supported yet.
