GUA MUSANG, Oct. 22 -- The Public Works Department (JKR) in Kelantan has confirmed a landslide along Jalan Lojing-Gua Musang (FT185), near Yayasan Albarakah here yesterday, which caused a 30-metre-long crack in the road surface.

Kelantan JKR director Nik Badlihisham Nik Ismail said the landslide at Section 84.15 involved an area stretching 20 metres in length and 30 metres in depth.

He said monitoring was being carried out at the site, while warning signs had been installed to alert road users to the danger.

"Damage was also detected to the slope drainage system.

"However, the road remains open to all vehicles, and no alternative route has been provided so far," he told Bernama today.
