Handful of supporters wait outside Najib's Langgak Duta residence after conditional pardon
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 18 -- Around 10 supporters gathered outside former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's private residence in Jalan Langgak Duta this afternoon, following news that he had been granted a conditional royal pardon allowing him to serve the remainder of his custodial sentence under house arrest.
The group arrived clad mostly in red, with one supporter wearing a red T-shirt featuring Najib's portrait making a shushing gesture.
The gathering coincided with a heavy media stakeout along the quiet residential street, with reporters and camera crews waiting outside the gates for Najib's potential arrival from Kajang Prison.
