GAZA STRIP, Oct. 16 -- Doctors in Gaza have alleged that many of the 90 bodies of Palestinians returned by Israeli authorities show signs of torture and summary execution, including bound hands and gunshot wounds to the head.
The bodies were received at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis on Wednesday as part of a US-brokered ceasefire agreement. Dr Ahmed al-Farra, head of the hospital's paediatric department, said there was substantial evidence of severe mistreatment, The Guardian reported
"Almost all of them had been blindfolded, had been bound up, and they had gunshots between the eyes. Almost all of them had been executed," Dr al-Farra said.
