KOTA KINABALU, May 18 -- Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah's (Gagasan Rakyat) restructuring is an important step to ensure the continuity and renewal of the party's leadership for the future, said deputy president Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun.

He said the proposed constitutional amendments are not only aimed at strengthening the party's organisational structure, but also at creating wider opportunities for a new generation to step forward and lead.

According to him, the current leadership must accept the reality that a leadership transition process is necessary to ensure the party remains relevant and capable of further growth.
