KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 14 -- Chinese star Cheng Lei got up close with Malaysian fans yesterday when he took the stage at Sunway Velocity Mall here for the iQIYI Starship 2026 fan engagement event.

The How Dare You!? actor entertained fans with games and interactions throughout the event, sharing heartfelt moments with the crowd, many of whom left smiling after getting the chance to see him in person.

Following the event, Cheng spoke to members of the media at TGV Cinemas in the same mall, where the possibility of returning to Malaysia for a future filming project was among the highlights of the conversation.
