KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 16 -- Chinese heartthrob Wang Yibo appears to have developed quite an appetite for Malaysian food as he gears up for his first overseas competition as a professional racing driver.

The 29-year-old actor and singer, best known for his starring role in the hit Chinese drama The Untamed, has been spotted tucking into local favourites including bak kut teh and durian during his stay in Kuala Lumpur.

And while he may be in Malaysia for some serious business on the racetrack, the star is clearly making time for a little culinary adventure.

Wang was spotted enjoying a claypot bak kut teh meal with members of his racing team at a restaurant in Pudu on Wednesday.
