KUCHING, Sept. 26 -- Two people sustained minor injuries in a chain collision involving four vehicles along Jalan Lapangan Terbang here yesterday afternoon.

The collision, reported at about 2.49pm, involved two four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles, a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a van.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched personnel from the Tabuan Jaya fire station, supported by the Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) team from Batu Lintang fire station, following a distress call.

"There were two individuals who were slightly injured - and there were no victims pinned in the affected vehicles," Bomba said in a statement.
