KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 16 -- After being postponed since December last year, the auction of luxury cars and 727 personal items belonging to celebrity entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida is set to take place on October 30.

According to a public auction notice published in a local English-language newspaper today, the sale is being carried out by creditor AH Design Communication Sdn Bhd against Vida.

The move follows Vida's failure to settle the outstanding amount owed to subcontractor AH Design Communication.

Vida, whose real name isHasmiza Othman,had also failed to reach a settlement or obtain approval for her request to delay the auction for nearly a year, claiming the seized items were borrowed goods.
