SINGAPORE, Aug. 28 -- A 15-year-old man who worked as a teacher's aide has been charged with three sexual offences against a student, including allegedly directing the boy to perform an indecent act on him when the child was 11.

The man was charged yesterday with two counts of procuring an obscene or indecent act by a child under Singapore's Children and Young Persons Act (CYPA), as well as one count of molestation, The Straits Times reported.

The man, whose identity and school cannot be disclosed under a gag order protecting the boy's identity, allegedly first committed the offences on March 7, 2025.

He was in an activity room at the school when he allegedly directed the boy to perform an indecent act on him, according to the charges....
