KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 13 -- Former Auditor-General Tan Sri Madinah Mohamad reportedly said she was disappointed she was not called to testify before the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), despite turning up at the designated venue and being ready to give evidence.

Berita Harian reported Madinah, who served as auditor-general from 2017 to 2019, as saying she was at the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) office on the appointed day and waited more than 30 minutes without being called.

"My right to be heard was denied when I was not called to testify in the proceedings, even though I had already turned up and waited there," she was quoted as saying.
