PETALING JAYA, June 27 -- A 28 year old food delivery rider, who asked to be identified only as Man (not his real name), was injured after being assaulted by a customer in Kelana Jaya yesterday.

"I just wanted to deliver the food and collect payment, but was suddenly attacked simply because I had overshot the location after failing to find the address," he told Berita Harian (BH).

Man had collected an order from a fast food outlet at a petrol station in Kelana Jaya at about 4.45am for delivery to a premises in Taman Rasa Sayang. When he arrived around 5.30am, he was unable to locate the unit and contacted the customer, who only asked if he had reached downstairs before ending the call.
