Kuala Lampur, June 3 -- KUCHING, June 3 - Five people, including a two-year-old girl, were killed in a single-vehicle crash along Jalan Baki Lama-Ensengei in Serian this morning.

According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), firefighters from the Serian fire station were dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 8.41am.

"Upon arrival, it was found a vehicle had crashed into a water pipe. The incident involved five victims understood to be from one family, comprising a man, three women aged between 16 and 47, and a two-year-old girl.
