KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 30 -- Fashion designer Datuk Rizalman Ibrahim says his adopted son, Umar Nail, is in stable condition but remains under close medical observation following internal injuries sustained in a road accident.

He said doctors are focusing on treating Umar's liver injury, which is currently the main concern, according to Harian Metro.

Rizalman said, "Alhamdulillah, as of now, Umar is stable," adding that his son "is still under close monitoring by the medical team, particularly for injuries to his internal organs, namely the liver."

He said he accepts the ordeal as a test for his family and places full trust in God's will.

Rizalman said he continues to pray for Umar's strength and recovery as treatment progresses.
