Fans of Penang's Apong Guan, you can now get their iconic fluffy 'apom' in Pandan Indah
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 9 -- Back in June this year, Apong Guan announced they would relocate to Kuala Lumpur.
Well, their food truck is now open daily, parked in front of Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Pandan Indah.
For more than 50 years, Uan Cheng Guan served Penangites their favourite fluffy santan-scented pancakes topped with bananas and corn from his truck parked along Jalan Burma.
As you queued and patiently waited for the pancakes to be cooked, he would entertain everyone with his storytelling.
The 79-year-old has now hung up his apron, passing the business to his son Alan Uan.
