SINGAPORE, May 29 -- A former Singapore police officer who molested a teenage boy while disguised as a woman and secretly recorded two other 15-year-olds performing sexual acts on video calls has been sentenced to three years in jail and four strokes of the cane.

Sharizal Shafi'ee, 40, pleaded guilty to five charges including molestation and voyeuristic recording, with 10 other similar offences involving at least three more victims taken into consideration. He was sentenced today, according to The Straits Times (ST).

The court heard that on April 18, 2024, Sharizal - dressed in women's clothing and wearing make-up - approached students at a secondary school, asking for help adjusting his bra.
