PENAMPANG, May 24 -- The RM16.8 million Timpangoh-Babagon Bridge project has been completed more than three months ahead of schedule, providing a major boost to economic activities and connectivity for residents in Mukim Babagon.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick said the project, which was originally scheduled for completion in July this year, was certified as completed by the Public Works Department (JKR) in April.

"What is special about this project is that it was completed ahead of the original schedule, and this sends a message that development projects can also be implemented earlier than the stipulated timeframe," he told reporters after officiating at the opening of the bridge in conjunction with the Penampang Agricultur...
