KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 29 -- Fares for both KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit will be adjusted from January 1, 2027, marking the first revision since 2016.

In a statement today, Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) said the standard one-way adult fare for the KLIA Ekspres between KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will increase from RM55 to RM65, amid higher operating and maintenance costs.

"This fare adjustment will support our efforts to maintain high service standards and invest in improvements to enhance passengers' experience, as we are committed to providing the fastest and most reliable connection between KL Sentral and KLIA," ERL chief executive officer Datin Noormah Mohd Noor said.
