SINGAPORE, Sept. 4 -- Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin has retained his position as Singapore's richest person for a fourth consecutive year despite losing more than US$10 billion (RM40 billion) from his fortune, while the OCBC-linked Lee family recorded the biggest gain on the country's latest rich list.

Singapore's 50 wealthiest people were worth a combined US$239 billion in 2026, unchanged from a year earlier, as gains in banking, retail and property were offset by sharp losses among some of the city-state's technology billionaires, AsiaOne reported, citing Forbes Asia.

Saverin, a longtime Singapore resident, remained comfortably at No 1 even as his fortune fell by US$10.1 billion to US$32.9 billion.
