KUCHING, June 5 -- Sarawak United Peoples' Party (SUPP) president Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian said the next state election is around the corner and may be called within the next 100 days.

He therefore called on party members to remain vigilant and not become complacent about past achievements or take victory for granted.

He said they must realise that the forthcoming election is a battle that requires thorough preparation and a full commitment from all members.

"You do realise that we are 'fighting a war', right? I think the next state election is no less than 100 days away," he said during the SUPP 67th anniversary flag-raising ceremony held at the party's headquarters here on Thursday.
