SEOUL, Oct. 29 -- Former BigBang member Seungri has confirmed that he's married and expecting his first child.

On Tuesday, rumours of his partner's pregnancy circulated, with reports claiming the two planned to marry after the birth of their son in January 2027.

Reports also said his partner is a non-celebrity woman in her 20s, and the couple have a home prepared in Gangnam, Seoul.

Seungri, who turns 36 in December, told South Korean publication Ilgan Sports yesterday that they have already registered their marriage.

He denied that his wife's pregnancy happened before they married.
