KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 22 -- Hundreds of supporters of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak gathered at the Kuala Lumpur High Court complex at Jalan Duta early this morning as they awaited a crucial decision on his judicial review bid to serve the remainder of his prison sentence under house arrest.
According to Harian Metro, supporters began assembling as early as 7am, with crowds swelling around the court compound amid chants of "Justice for Najib" and "Lawan tetap lawan".
Supporters were reported to have travelled from several states, including northern Peninsular Malaysia, while media personnel crowded the area in anticipation of the ruling.
