SEOUL, Aug. 31 -- BTS ranked No. 2 on Billboard's Top Tours chart for July after generating more than US$102.5 million (RM412 million) in revenue from eight shows on its ongoing Arirang world tour.

The Weeknd led the monthly ranking with US$124 million from 16 performances, according to The Korea Herald.

Billboard said the group is "the third act to gross a reported US$100 million in multiple months," placing BTS alongside Beyonce and Bad Bunny in the chart's historical records.

BTS had topped Billboard's monthly tour revenue tally in both April and May before slipping to second place in July.
