KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 8 -- A woman, believed to be homeless, was found dead on Jalan Sentul near a traffic light this morning.

The victim, thought to be a local, is estimated to be in her 40s or 50s, according to a report published by Harian Metro.

The cause of death is still under investigation, and the body has been sent to a hospital for an autopsy.

Authorities are verifying the circumstances of the woman's death.
