KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 -- Police are tracing several bank accounts believed to have been used as mule accounts in connection with alleged fraud involving the sale of tickets for BTS' upcoming concert in Malaysia.

According to Berita Harian, Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Hoo Chang Hook said investigations were ongoing and several bank accounts suspected of being involved had already been identified.

"We suspect these accounts were used by the syndicate to receive payments from victims.

"It is possible that the owners of these bank accounts are mule account holders," he said to the national daily today.

Hoo said no new police reports had been lodged in relation to the case so far.
