KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 26 -- Bersatu Youth chief Hilman Idham has suggested that his party could back Pakatan Harapan in the Selangor government until the end of its current term.

The Gombak Setia assemblyman was responding to the recent move by two Bersatu representatives in Pahang who pledged support for Barisan Nasional Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

Asked whether a similar political arrangement could take shape in Selangor, Hilman said it was "not impossible", Malaysiakini reported.

"Bersatu has worked with all political parties before, including BN and Harapan. The fundamental consideration is the people's interests," he said.
