Bersatu leadership approves two Pahang reps' move to back Umno menteri besar
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 26 -- Two Bersatu assemblymen in Pahang have thrown their support behind Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail of Umno, with the party's top leadership signalling its backing for the move.
Kuala Sentul assemblyman Datuk Jasri Jamaluddin and Lepar assemblyman Datuk Mohd Yazid Mohd Yunus - Bersatu's only two elected representatives in the 42-seat Pahang assembly - signed a memorandum of understanding with Wan Rosdy, pledging their backing for his administration until the next state election, expected by early 2028.
