PETALING JAYA, Oct. 14 -- The 16-year-old girl who was fatally stabbed at a Bandar Utama school here had spurned the advances of the 14-year-old boy who attacked her, a student witness alleged.
The witness said the boy had confessed his feelings to the girl the previous day, but this went unrequited, the New Straits Times reported.
Detailing the horrific attack, the student said the suspect, armed with a sharp weapon, cornered the girl in the school's female toilet.
"He was holding a knife and had her hostage inside the toilet. Then he started stabbing her repeatedly," the witness was quoted as saying.
The victim's friend, who was nearby, immediately ran to get a discipline teacher.
