MALAY MAIL, Oct. 27 -- Trade between Malaysia and Thailand continues to expand, with bilateral trade hitting US$18.68 billion (RM89.4 billion) in the first eight months of 2025 - a 6.99 per cent increase from the same period last year.
With both nations targeting a trade value of US$30 billion by 2027, Thailand is calling on Malaysian entrepreneurs to tap into its growing network of high-quality suppliers, particularly in sectors where Thai industries already enjoy global recognition.
Thailand's industrial strength lies in areas such as food and beverage - branded the "Kitchen of the World" - encompassing processed foods, snacks, and both fresh and processed fruits.
