Anwar: Govt approves up to RM50m from PTPK fund to boost TVET 2.0 programme
Kuala Lampur, June 6 -- PUTRAJAYA, June 6 - The government has approved up to RM50 million from the High Impact Programme Fund under the Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) to strengthen the implementation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) 2.0, Astro Awani reported.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the allocation will be used to expand training programmes, industry exposure and improve skills development quality to ensure the country's workforce meets current and future market demands.
He said the move reflects the government's continued push to align TVET development with industry needs through closer collaboration between stakeholders.
