SEBERANG PERAI, Aug. 28 -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he will be approving an allowance for Form Six students under Budget 2027, which is due to be tabled in October.

He said the government decided this after feedback from pre-university students who noted that there was no government allowance for those in Form Six.

"From Year One until Form Five, there are allowances. There are allowances at university level. But Form Six and pre-university students do not have them," he said at the IPG Tuanku Bainun campus here today.

"So in our Budget this October, I will approve an allocation and allowance for Form Six students," he said.
