KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 26 -- Malaysian moviegoers will have another IMAX option in the Klang Valley next month, with Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) converting its largest hall at Mid Valley Megamall into an IMAX with Laser cinema.

Hall 18 will be fitted with 4K laser projection technology and a 12-channel sound system, with Godzilla Minus Zero set to be the first film screened there on November 5.

The upgrade adds to GSC's IMAX expansion in Malaysia, following the opening of its IMAX hall at IOI Mall Damansara on July 16, which launched with Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
