KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 18 -- Singer-actress Bella Astillah was moved to tears when her nine-year-old son, Mohamed Ayden Adrean, delivered an emotional speech at her wedding reception with Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman last night.

Speaking at the reception held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec), Ayden recalled the difficult moments his mother went through before Syed Saddiq came into their lives.

"Daddy, before you came into our lives, there were times when I saw mummy cry.

"I was still small and sometimes, I didn't understand everything that was happening.

"I just knew that mummy was sad," he said.
