'If the head is gone, the tail will follow': Bersatu leaders resign in Terengganu
MARANG, Aug. 7 -- Terengganu Bersatu was left reeling after Datuk Razali Idris announced his resignation as state chief, a post he has held for a decade.
Razali, who is also a state executive councillor and one of Bersatu's founding members in 2016, confirmed he had submitted his resignation letter to party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on July 16.
"So far, the party headquarters, including Muhyiddin, has yet to confirm or decide whether to accept or reject the resignation," he told Berita Harian (BH) yesterday.
He further confirmed he would step down as Marang division chief in mid August, citing the need to settle party matters at the division level.
