SEOUL, Oct. 20 -- K-pop singer Soyou says she was humiliated and discriminated against on a US flight - an experience she calls one of the most painful of her life.

According to The Korea Times, the former Sistar member shared her ordeal yesterday through a social media post, saying she was returning to Seoul from Atlanta after completing work in New York when the incident occurred.

"I was extremely tired and simply asked for a Korean flight attendant to check the meal time," Soyou wrote.

"But the steward took issue with my attitude and treated me like a problematic passenger."
