SINGAPORE, Oct. 20 -- The long-awaited sequel to Michael Mann's 1995 crime masterpiece Heat could bring its high-stakes action to Singapore.
Speaking to Variety at the Lumiere Film Festival in Lyon, France, the 82-year-old director revealed that Heat 2 is "going to shoot in Chicago, Los Angeles, Paraguay and possibly some parts in Singapore."
Filming is expected to begin in the summer of 2026, Mann told Variety.
The Oscar-nominated filmmaker - known for The Last of the Mohicans (1992) and Ali (2001) - stopped short of confirming the cast but dropped several tantalising hints.
