India, July 3 -- The footage of two figures in black, scaling the spire of one of the world's most iconic skyscrapers with nothing but each other, has taken over social media. On 1 July 2026, a daredevil couple climbed atop the Empire State Building to unfurl a banner reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace." That's not all. They also got engaged there. Within hours, the internet identified them as Angela Nikolau and Ivan "Vanya" Beerkus, the subjects of the 2024 documentary, Skywalkers: A Love Story.
