India, May 22 -- Two British institutions, Burberry and Hunza G, one born of fog and gabardine and the other of crinkle and coastline, have gloriously found each other.

There is a particular kind of British stubbornness that refuses to let the weather have the final word. It is the same stubbornness that produced the trench coat, a garment so perfectly engineered for the elements that 170 years of fashion have done nothing to diminish it. The same stubbornness, in a sunnier register, built a swimwear brand on the belief that one extraordinary fabric could make any woman feel extraordinary. Burberry and Hunza G are, in other words, two expressions of an identical conviction. It has taken until now for them to formally agree.
