India, Aug. 28 -- Netflix is diving into the backstory of one of America's most notorious killers with a new movie, Unabomber, set to release in September. It delves into the formative years of Ted Kaczynski, the man who built untraceable bombs and delivered them to his targets.

The film explores the chilling consequences of ambition and isolation. "I was fascinated by the fact that the hunt for the Unabomber was the FBI's longest and most expensive operation to date. But what really drew me in was the story about Ted Kaczynski's years at Harvard when he was a young math student," director Janus Metz told Tudum.
