India, March 12 -- Not very long ago, travel blogging in India existed in a curious corner of the internet-a space populated mostly by hobbyists, long blog posts, and people who still thought of Instagram as a photo filter rather than an industry. Somewhere in that early digital wilderness, Savi Munjal and her husband Vid began documenting their travels under the now-familiar banner of Bruised Passports.

At the time, there were simply two curious people writing about where they had been. Today, it reads more like the origin story of a category.
