India, June 25 -- Ajay Devgn is returning to the hardcore action space with Chauhaan, his upcoming movie. It was announced on the birth anniversary of his father, the late action director Veeru Devgan, with a teaser featuring the iconic song "Jumma Chumma De De" from the 1991 movie Hum. Presented by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Productions, the film will hit theatres in October 2027.

The film will mark Devgn's return to the action genre after comedies like Son of Sardaar 2 (2025), De De Pyaar De 2 (2025), and Dhamaal 4, which will hit theatres on 10 July 2026. If the attire and the authoritative tone are anything to go by, the teaser will remind fans of the Singham era, but more intense.
