India, Sept. 22 -- Get ready for some zombie-fuelled Halloween scares as the Spanish action thriller Apocalypse Z: New World arrives on Prime Video this October. It's the long-awaited sequel to the 2024 movie Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End, expanding the post-apocalyptic universe with more action and an ensemble tale.

The second instalment in the Apocalypse Z saga, translated as Apocalipsis Z: Nuevo Mundo in Spanish, moves the action to the Canary Islands - the last safe haven for humanity in a Europe overrun by zombies. This time around, it's not just the virus that could prove deadly, but also the loyalties that are beginning to crack under pressure.
