India, April 6 -- A love of all things bookish is powering travel, with literary travel shaping up as a noteworthy travel trend of 2026. According to Skyscanner, 66 percent of travelers said they'd consider a trip inspired by literature - then there's the #BookTok trend fuelling trips to classic book locations. Here are six cities in the region, plus one in nearby Sri Lanka- with literary scenes worth travelling for.
