India, June 26 -- In Supergirl, Superman's angsty cousin, Milly Alcock's Kara Zor-El, spends her nights partying somewhere on a red sun planet, her days sleeping the hangover off and playing cosmic fetch with her adorable dog Krypto. The Craig Gillespie-directed film shares its DNA (much like the characters themselves) with James Gunn's Superman. It gives fans a fun caper with lots of heart while setting up the superhero characters' DCU futures.
