India, July 21 -- Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 3 got a lot of things right but nothing comes nearly close to the casting of seasoned actress Mallika Prasad in the breakout role of Amma. The Abhiraj Minawala directorial that came out earlier this year explored a darker and more emotionally-charged premise of girl trafficking. And while Mukerji's Shivani Shivaji Roy kicked ass in a screenplay that did have room for improvement, she met her match in Prasad's Amma. She didn't have a single false note about her performance and played the character with a certain cynicism that made the part diabolical.

Needless to say, viewers and fans were quick to point out the part, praising her portrayal of an antagonist that made the movie what it is. But what...
