Srilanka, Aug. 14 -- Pan Asia Bank has surpassed Rs. 350 billion in total assets for the first time in its 31-year history, reporting a strong performance for the first half of 2026.

For the six months ended 30 June, the Bank recorded a Profit After Tax of Rs. 2.5 billion, up 16% year-on-year, while Net Interest Income grew 13% to Rs. 7.07 billion.

Total assets increased 15% to Rs. 354.03 billion, supported by a 14% growth in Gross Loans and Advances to Rs. 248.13 billion and a 17% increase in Customer Deposits to Rs. 271.24 billion.

Asset quality also improved, with the Gross Stage 3 Loan Ratio declining to 3.97% from 4.62% at the end of 2025.
