Lucknow, July 29 -- The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to implement the Integrated Model Building Regulations-2026 to bring uniformity in building construction norms across industrial development authorities in the state.

UP Drafts Uniform Building Regulations for Industrial Areas

A five-member committee headed by Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning, P. Guru Prasad, studied building policies in Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi, Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha and Tamil Nadu before drafting the proposed regulations.
