Lucknow, Oct. 1 -- The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) recorded strong growth in footfall, investment and business activity, with 4,400 MoUs worth Rs 6,500 crore signed during the five-day event held from September 25 to 29.

Business inquiries generated during the trade show were estimated at around Rs 15,500 crore, while visitor numbers increased by 1.5 lakh compared with the previous edition.

According to official data from the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the event recorded 41,500 B2B and business meetings.

Of these, 13,500 were held under the Reverse Buyers-Sellers Meet (RBSM), while around 28,000 business interactions took place in the main exhibition area.
