Lucknow, Sept. 3 -- Uttar Pradesh is working with the German Indian Business Alliance (GIBA) to establish an Indo-German Gateway to help state-based MSMEs and startups access markets in Germany and the wider European Union.

The initiative will initially support a pilot cohort of 12-20 enterprises, focusing on exports, technology partnerships, investment, supply-chain integration and skilled employment.

A high-level German delegation from GIBA and Innovation Hub RheinMain visited Lucknow to review implementation of the MoU exchanged between Invest UP and GIBA in Frankfurt on February 23, 2026, reported Economic Times.
